People usually don’t hide red flags. We just explain them away. A small warning gets called stress, a pattern gets called bad timing, and before long you’re ignoring what was clear from the start.

What a weekend. The moment that stayed with me was our men’s 4x400 team. They won gold and broke the national record at the same time. Doing that at home made it even bigger. I could feel the crowd lift with every lap.

That is the kind of result people remember. Not just because of the medal, but because it happened in front of my own people.

I have been a bit quiet these past few days because of the relays here in Botswana. Things have been busy and the whole place has had a different kind of energy.

People have really been following it. You can feel the excitement in conversations, on the streets, and online. It has been nice seeing that kind of national pride and people coming together around the event.

One thing that really stood out for me is the medals. They actually have real diamonds in them, which is a big deal. That feels very Botswana. It gives the whole event something special and memorable.

That is pretty much how things stand at the moment. It has been lively, busy, and good to see. PULA💃💃💃

A house renovation is a mix of excitement and frustration. You picture the end result, but getting there takes time, effort, and a lot of patience. Things rarely go exactly as planned.

But that final result makes all the disruption feel worth it.
