Musical concert....nothing could have been a better gift. May is my birthday month and some really dear ones also have birthday in May. My birthday comes tomorrow. And yesterday my friends took me for a musical night...a evening soaked in retro music..it was tribute to some legends by contemporary singers. It was just fabulous. I enjoyed the food, company and music....what more could one ask for. I am feeling so rejuvenated.

Getting busy is a good way to distract yourself. I have been not feeling well and low on energy for quite some time. And all my blood work seem fine. Today I pushed myself for work after a long break of one and half month of summer vacation. And I felt perfectly fine conducting the orientation program for new parents who start their journey with our school from the new academic year of June. I took a long nap after returning. But today felt like a good day with some accomplishment.
Tuduetso MalemaI agree with you. Keeping bizzy does really change something in you. It realy does distract you. Recently learned that. Because when i am down, i go the whole mile.

WEEKEND IS HERE.
It's Friday afternoon here and I will cherish hot home made lunch in some time. And then in the afternoon, I have two sessions for work from 3_5. And other than that I am a free bird. 😄. Weekend is here. Nothing much planned for weekend other than going for a friend's housewarming function tomorrow afternoon. That's a long drive. And we expect some good get together with lunch there, expecting to see some friends we have not met in long time. Looking forward to it.

I am sure that many will be in this mood if Friday has come to your part of the world. It's Friday afternoon here. Though I am into long summer vacation mode, I can still feel this YAY! Friday mood. My daughters and husband also have days off from work on weekends. And I can sleep little late as I don't need to get up early and pack lunches.

How was your weekend?
It's second day of the new week here. I hope that everyone enjoyed their weekend and are all geared up to handle the week with all energy and enthusiasm. What did you do for the weekend?
I was busy with one exhibition of art and craft where I set up a stall selling art and craft products of mine, my daughters and some of my special needs students. It was tiring long hours but worth every effort. We had overwhelming responses from crowd and almost everything sold..that motivates us and encourages my students to keep going.

@Sanjeev. It was quite hectic. But felt good. A sense of accomplishment was there as all my effort was actually paid. My daughter felt encourager. The best part was when my special needs students could earn from the products that they had made under my guidance. They got some money and that boosted their self esteem.
Ginger .Weekend was good. I it's raining here and tomorrow is also expected to rain.
Arunima SinghWow @Ginger. I am sure that the rain was a welcomed one. It will keep the temperature low and push summer a bit. We had predictions of heavy rain but it didn't. I won't mind the temperature cooling down a bit with rain. It's warm here, not like regular Bengaluru weather.
What's your mood today? I am in my holiday mood. Though the school closed last week for students, it's officially a holiday for teachers and other staffs from today. Now, it's a long two months holiday is on and I want to make best use of it...finishing few things along with the enjoyment. How about you?

Arunima Singh@Maria De Guzman. Yes, things happening around the world right now can be really depressing. I am not listening or watching news a lot to avoid that. I just spend few minutes to stay updated with the current happenings. Rest of the time, I focus my time and energy in something productive
@Kehinde Ajibola. I am not a regular employee there. I am paid on hourly basis. So, no payments there. But yes, I will continue with my afternoon therapy sessions. Also, I will be paid for the few workshops that I am conducting in April and May.
@Augusta Noble. Can relate to that. It's a fun place to be.

It really lifted my spirit as last few months or in fact from the beginning of 2026, I have been on roller coaster. I could live in the moment for the concert and just immerse myself in all the melodies.
